Despite the threat of Fay, we had a great time in Destin this past week with the Boreys. We had great weather until this morning as we were getting ready to leave, the wind was picking up and it was raining. The first day we got there the water was so clear and blue but throughout the week it became covered in seaweed. The pools at our condo were wonderful for the kids and it was nice to watch them enjoy it. Connor enjoyed playing in the sand at the beach but wasn't real impressed with being in the ocean. Macy enjoyed the pool for short periods but did not like the beach. She fussed most of the time we were there but she looked so cute in her swimsuit! Tina and I got to slip away for a few hours to go outlet shopping and got some great deals. It was so nice to spend some girl time without the kids! We had a great time and look forward to our next adventure! Even a hurricane can't stop us from having fun! If you are really bored you can check out more pictures in the Destin photo album.

Looks like you had a great time despite Faye!! I know Macy didn't like the beach too much, but she did look really cute in her swimsuits and I loved that one brown outfit she wore to dinner. Connor also looked like he was stylin'! I also loved the pic of you and Macy in front of the flowering bush...although it looks like Macy has something else in mind. Ha! Glad you guys had a good time, but we are also glad that you are back.
